Purchasing on Travelzen gives you instant confirmation of your booking, in one easy step.
Why did the room I requested become unavailable during the booking process? Back to top
Room bookings on Travelzen are offered in real-time and are constantly updated according to the market situation. The room rate you requested may have been changed or sold out. If this has happened, please select a different room or check back later.
If there are no available rooms, why check back later? Back to top
Room rates and availabilities change all the time. Currently unavailable rooms may become available again due to early check-outs, cancellations or no-shows. If your schedule allows it, it can be worthwhile to check back later.
What will I receive after I have paid for my hotel booking? Back to top
You will receive your receipt and a hotel voucher by email as soon as the booking payment is successfully completed. If you have provided us with a China Mobile phone number we will also send you a confirmation SMS.
What is the maximum number of rooms I can book per transaction? Back to top
You can book up to 5 rooms. More than 5 rooms must be booked in a separate transaction.
Can I book a hotel room for someone else? Back to top
Yes. Please ensure that the name you provide when booking on Travelzen.com is entered exactly as it is on their travel document/passport/ID.
When do I receive the voucher once I’ve paid? Back to top
Once your transaction has been completed online your receipt and voucher will be immediately emailed to your registered email address.
Can I make a same-day hotel booking? Back to top
You can make a same-day booking as long as it is before 12:00hrs (12:00nn) that day.
Does the hotel price have any extra charges? Back to top
No. All Travelzen prices are exactly what you will pay, with no extra or hidden fees.
Can I cancel my bookings and how do I get a refund? Back to top
Simply hit “reply” to your Travelzen itinerary email and request to cancel your bookings. We will process your request and refund payment after deducting any cancellation charges specified by your hotel according to the terms and conditions of your transaction.
What are the charges associated with booking cancellation/changes? Back to top
Travelzen does not charge any fees for changing or canceling a booking. Hotels have their own policies regarding cancellation/change penalties; please refer to your hotel’s terms and conditions for details.
I can’t find the hotel I want on Travelzen, what do I do? Back to top
We are adding more hotels to our database every day. If you cannot find the hotel you want, please email us at service@travelzen.com and we will add the hotel as soon as we can.
 
Check-In
What are the check-in and check-out times? Back to top
The normal earliest check-in time is 2:00pm and latest check-out 12:00pm local time for most hotels in China. Exceptions are noted in the individual hotel descriptions.
Can I get early check in? Back to top
We recommend that you contact us and we will check with the hotel to see if your room is available for early check-in.
Can I still check in if I arrive late? Back to top
Yes. Booking with Travelzen ensures that your room is reserved for you, so you can check-in whenever you want.
What documents do I need to check in? Back to top
When you arrive at your hotel, you will need your passport/valid ID and hotel voucher.
Problems checking in? Back to top
In the unlikely event that you arrive to find your hotel booking lost or canceled, contact our customer service department here and we will do our best to resolve any problems you may have.
 
Check-Out
I want to check-out early, can I get a refund? Back to top
If you are entitled to a refund according to the terms and conditions of your hotel, please notify Travelzen and we will process you cancellation.
 
Insurance
Does Travelzen offer travel insurance? Back to top
Currently Travelzen does not offer travel insurance, however we do plan to offer travelers insurance in the near future so please check back often.
