Booking and Check-In
Yes. Travelzen offers both domestic and international flights in and out of China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau.
Ticket fares on Travelzen are real-time fares and constantly updated according to the market situation. The fare you requested may have changed or sold out. If this has happened, please select a different fare or check back later.
Fare availabilities change all the time. Currently unavailable fares may become available again due to cancellations, passenger changes or airline pricing adjustments. If your schedule allows it, it can be worthwhile to check back later.
Checking in with an e-ticket is easy. Just present your travel document and provide your flight information at the check-in counter for your boarding pass. We advise you to print your itinerary email before departing, so you have your flight itineraries on hand at all times while traveling.
For most airlines check-in is closed 45 minutes before departure. However, due to the possibility of delays in checking in, customs or security, we strongly advise you to arrive at the airport at least 2 hours prior to the departure time.
You can email any schedule change requests to service@travelzen.com or hit “reply” to your Travelzen itinerary 48 hours prior to your departure time. If you need to make any changes within 48 hours of your departure, please contact our Customer Service Center here.
We will process your request and refund payment after deducting any charges specified by your airline according to the terms and conditions of your transaction.
Yes. Flights are bookable on Travelzen.com up to 3 hours prior to the flight’s scheduled departure. Travelzen advises you to arrive at the airport at least 2 hours prior to your departure time.
Travelzen provides instant confirmation. Once you have completed your transaction, your receipt, e-ticket number and detailed flight itinerary will be emailed to your registered email account.
If the phone number you’ve provided is a China Mobile number, you will also receive a confirmation SMS text. If you’ve signed up for a free Travelzen membership, you can retrieve and print your receipt/itinerary from the option labeled "My Account". Your booking is fully confirmed when you receive your receipt and itinerary.
By purchasing separate one-way tickets to travel domestically in China, you are free to select your travel times and dates from the schedules of any airline in any city in China.
Yes. When booking for others please ensure that their name is exactly the same as it appears on their travel documents/passport/ID.
Yes. To book a ticket for an infant under the age of 2 years, please contact Customer Service Center here and we will make arrangements for you.
Domestic flights within China require that children ages 2 years to 12 years have a valid form of identification. International flights require all passengers to have a passport.
No. Travelzen does not process bookings for unaccompanied minors. To book tickets for unaccompanied minors, please contact the airline directly.
You can purchase up to 9 separate tickets per transaction. Additional tickets may be purchased in a separate transaction.
Tickets
E-tickets are electronic tickets recorded in the airline’s computer system. This allows you to travel without having a paper ticket. All you need is your flight itinerary with the e-ticket numbers and your travel document when you check-in.
Simply hit “reply” to your Travelzen itinerary email and request to cancel your bookings. We will process your request and refund payment after deducting any cancellation charges specified by your airline, according to the terms and conditions of your transaction. Please refer to your airline’s terms and conditions regarding cancellation fees.
One of the benefits of booking with Travelzen is that there are no paper tickets. In the case where you have lost your confirmation email prior to check-in, please contact our 24 hour customer service here and we will provide your e-ticket number for you over the phone. Travelzen members can also access their itineraries and travel history online under “My Accounts”. Joining Travelzen is easy and free.
No. Once a name has been submitted, name changes are not permitted. You will need to book a new flight for any new or different passengers.
The Terms and Conditions of your bookings are found on Travelzen.com and in your itinerary. Each airline has their own Terms and Conditions, please be sure to read these carefully. As a Travelzen member, you can access all travel itineraries, travel history and terms and conditions under “My Account”.

Baggage
For domestic flights and international flights between Europe and China, passengers holding adult-fare or child-fare tickets are entitled to a free baggage allowance of:
The maximum weight for carry-on baggage is 5 kg. For first class passengers, 2 pieces of carry-on per person are allowed. Business and economy class passengers are allowed 1 piece per person.
For Boeing aircraft the maximum dimensions of carry-on baggage cannot be more than 20*40*55 cm. For regional flights, the maximum dimensions are 15*35*50 cm. Except for permitted sports equipment, firearms of any type including replicas or toys, gun-shaped lighters and other types of weapons are forbidden.
Large liquid items are prohibited from carry-on baggage but can be packed in your checked baggage. Liquids are allowed in hand baggage as long as there is 1 container per product, with each container being a maximum size of 100ml, and all items packed in a clear plastic bag for inspection.
Duty-free liquid items brought from passengers of overseas flights connecting to domestic flights must be placed in a sealed transparent plastic bag with supporting proof of receipt. These items need to be approved by the airport security inspector. Special provisions are made for liquid baby formula or medications. If traveling with an infant, please bring powder formula or request a baby meal 24 hours prior to departure. The air crew will hold any liquid medications that passengers may need for the flight. These items need to be approved by the airport security inspector. For passengers taking international or regional flights, restrictions on liquid items in carry-on baggage is subject to the relevant provisions in the General Administration of Civil Aviation of China’s Announcement on Liquid Restrictions in Hand baggage for Civil Flights.
