Dr. Alex Cheung is Travelzen's senior vice president of Systems Development and reports to Travelzen's CEO. Dr. Cheung is responsible for the overall systems development and management. Since joining the company in 2008, Dr. Cheung plays a key role in Travelzen's systems architecture, application design and development, IT infrastructure and R&D on next generation travel and systems technology, making Travelzen world-class travel transaction website that originates from China.

Dr. Cheung has over twenty three years of experience in the field of large scale distributed and parallel processing. Prior to joining Travelzen, Dr. Cheung's career includes serving as CTO at Cherrypicks, a telecoms transaction systems and service provider; as CTO of Next Media Interactive, a large scale e-commerce and portal; and as a research scientist for the U.S. government and a research institute over a five year span.

Dr. Cheung earned a doctorate degree in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University, USA. He has also published numerous articles in the areas of distributed computing and pattern recognition.
